As a Beauty Ambassador for Ladies’ Home Journal, I was asked to test out four different kinds of concealer for their upcoming Beauty Awards. You may remember my first post in this series exactly one month ago today.
Now as I mentioned before, I can’t tell you which brands I tested out just yet (not until their Beauty Issue comes out this October), but until then, I’ll be showing you the before and after pictures I took of myself while testing them out.
Here’s Concealer #2:

I didn’t really care for this concealer all that much. First of all, it was a 2-in-1 concealer and blemish treatment, but if you don’t have any blemishes that need treating, it’s kind of a waste. I was just looking to conceal my dark under eye circles and a scratch. As for the concealer itself, it felt a little too thick on application and was kind of cake-y. And like the first concealer, the color was not a perfect match to my skin tone. It looked yellowish orange on me – way too dark! And again I found that I had to really cover up the concealer with my foundation afterward, to hide the yellow. I really would not use this concealer.
Verdict: Not a product I would use.
