Readers,
I’m going to be taking a few days off from blogging this week – this morning I lost my grandfather, Papa a.k.a. Frank. He lived a nice long life – he was 95 years young! – and had been in failing health recently, so we are at least comforted in the knowledge that he is now at peace and is not in pain anymore. Nevertheless, it’s still a sad time for my family.
Here are two of my favorite pictures of him —
With my late grandmother, my Nanie a.k.a. Esther in the 1940s (I think)
With my husband and I on our wedding day in 2010
I’ll be back soon … in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the rest of this week surrounded by those you love.
