Yesterday, I was all about fighting a fierce case of the Mondays and having a sunny outlook on the day…so I paired two things that always seem to cheer me up: polka dots and bold colors.

I’ve started collecting J. Crew button-downs in a whole bunch of different colors and patterns … I find that I can easily wear them to work AND on the weekends. If you can find them at the outlets or during a sale, then they’re much more affordable that way 🙂
I’ve definitely started to be more fearless with mixing bold colors — today I thought nothing of wearing a cobalt blue belt with purple pants. A few years ago, I would never have thought to wear them together!
