A few weeks ago, I was perusing my Bloglovin’ roster of regular blog reads and came across this outfit in a post by fellow blogger Bonnie from Delusions of Grandeur —

My immediate reaction — after saying, “That’s an adorable outfit!” — was, “I have the Target dress in that same exact pattern! Hmmm … I wonder if I could wear it as a skirt?”
Well, yesterday I decided to give it a whirl …

Because I was wearing two bold patterns in one outfit, I decided to keep it really simple with the jewelry and just wear some pearl studs.
After often staring at the existing pieces in my closet and wondering how to make them fresh and new, why shouldn’t I draw inspiration from fellow bloggers?
