There’s just something about pairing black and blue together that feels so royal. I love the color combo. I know some people say that you shouldn’t mix black and blue in the same outfit, but I think they’re nuts.

This is definitely a tried and true wardrobe trick for the winter — take a sleeveless dress that you’d typically wear in the summer and layer a button-down, blouse or turtleneck on underneath it. Voila — an instant fall/winter outfit.
And of course I needed a sparkly statement necklace to brighten up my Monday yesterday.
