Last week I checked out the LOFT Fall 2017 preview and it did not disappoint. There were so many gorgeous patterns, textures and details that I didn’t know where to look first! I am especially loving all of their ruffles and floral embroidery.
Here’s a sneak peek!

Great photos! Prints are really loud this season. Just flipping through your old Loft previews, I hate to admit that part of why I loved Loft was how approachable their clothes were — comfy, casual, yet often very work appropriate. I’m starting to feel a bit turned off by how “trendy” alot of their styles have become — for example, the navy velvet blazer, huge furry coats, floral velour tracksuit jacket…wondering if you’ve noticed this too?
Those pieces do stick out to me a little bit too, since they are outside of the normal things I wear, but I do really love the fabrics and the prints they’ve been coming up with!
I get ridiculously excited when you post the Loft and Ann Taylor previews. Thanks for these, I so appreciate how thorough you are, by far the best source of these pics online. Do you have the pictures from the Ann Taylor Fall 2017 presentation?
You’re so welcome! I haven’t received the invite for the Ann Taylor Fall presentation yet (which is a little odd) but if & when I do I will certainly share them 🙂
It will never be the same, another lost love, remember the beautiful add campaigns and the styles that won our hearts. Guess the brand building and high quality broke the bank when the economy tanked and then the cotton crunch changed the fabrics forever. To top it off the sewing quality went through the sweat shop floor and even the fabric pattern cuts are only fit to wear in a barn now, and I do mean the Dress Barn. The prints are ugly and cheap from third world markets, not “Trendy” just Tacky. You broke my little shoppers heart LOFT, as I can’t find a thing to wear or buy from you anymore, your styles are boxy and flimsy and rate poor in all categories now that DB owns the company. I guess the good memories and the beautiful wardrobe I got from LOFT in the past will have to do. The last few years have been a real let down to me.
