My Sale Picks
I’ve rounded up all of the hottest products below that Sephora customers swear by below (just read the reviews!), but here’s a quick rundown of some of my favorite products right now, that I personally think you should buy during the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale —
Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation — this is the foundation I’ve been using for awhile now, and I totally love it. I actually tried it on a whim because my shade was all sold out in the Sunday Riley foundation (another favorite of mine) … and I have been pleasantly surprised by the coverage and the wear of it.
Milk Makeup Kush Volume Mascara — I am also really loving the Milk Makeup mascara right now … it makes my lashes crazy big and doesn’t clump or flake off at all during the day.
Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel — this is also the best brow filler I’ve used in quite some time. It looks natural, the color is a good match, and it doesn’t budge all day, even when I sweat. I’ve had multiple people tell me that they had no idea I was even filling in my brows.
Milk Makeup Watermelon Brightening Serum — I haven’t tried this serum yet, but I am going to buy it during this sale. I’ve heard amazing things about it, and it’s frequently sold out at the Sephora stores in the city, and that’s how you know it’s good!
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo — I have bought this highlighter three or four times and have finished it every time. It gives me the perfect glow without being too dark or too orange-y. I usually buy the ‘Lightning Dust / Fire Crystal’ shade duo but there are multiple shade combos to choose from to get the look you want.
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer — This really, truly is a great neutral / ‘sun kissed’ lip gloss shade that will look amazing on everyone. I love the flavor, too. And it’s not sticky at all, which is a total pet peeve of mine with lip gloss.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Amplifying Eye Primer — I’ve been testing out this eyeshadow primer for awhile now, and it’s pretty darn awesome. It’s held up perfectly in an NYC heat wave, too.
Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Lipstick — I’ve been wearing the shade ‘You Can Find Me’ for awhile now, and it’s the perfect coral. Great creamy consistency and lasts a long time, too. Plus it’s just about the coolest, most bad ass lipstick container I’ve ever owned.
Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm — This balm takes all of my makeup off easily, including my eye makeup. And it leaves my skin feeling super moisturized and supple, too.
Urban Decay All-Nighter Makeup Setting Spray — I’ve tried countless other brands of setting sprays but this one is hands down the best. Nothing lasts as long or works as well. It really does make your makeup stay put all day!
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil — For a smokey eye or experimenting with fun eyeliner colors, in my opinion you can’t get much more effortless than this pencil. I’m not all that advanced with my makeup techniques, so I love how easy to apply this particular pencil is. It’s creamy and it really does glide right on, and it comes in a ton of cool shades.
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser — I splurged on this cleanser during the last Sephora sale (it’s a lot more expensive than I typically spend on beauty products), but HOLY CRAP was it worth it. Using this cleanser is honestly the best my skin has ever felt. I wish I could afford it all the time.
Herbivore Rose Quartz Facial Roller — I’ve really been tempted to try the whole facial roller trend, and I think I might finally break down any buy one during this sale. I’ve heard that it’s really good at de-puffing and smoothing, as well as helping product absorb into the skin better.
RMS Beauty Beauty Oil — I’ve been using this beauty oil for awhile now and it’s one of my favorite products. It’s a total miracle worker during the wintertime when my skin gets dry, red, and flaky. I would absolutely recommend it!
NARS Blush — There’s a reason that their shade ‘Orgasm’ is one of the most popular shades of blush of all time … it gives you the perfect natural flush!
