Here are my favorite makeup buys from the Macy’s beauty sale — I stuck to sharing the brands that I regularly wear and can attest to, like tarte (my favorite blush), Urban Decay (I love their primers, finishing sprays, and eyeliners), Nyx (they have great makeup brushes), IT Cosmetics (I swear by their concealer), and bareMinerals, but there are several other brands on sale.
In terms of the skincare items on sale, I am completely obsessed with all things Sunday Riley! It’s a little more than I typically spend on skincare, but after sampling the products in a Birchbox months ago — and then getting some free samples — I’m completely hooked.
I can confidently say it’s the best stuff I’ve ever used on my skin. It makes my face feel AMAZING, even in the winter when my skin is usually a nightmare. And since it’s a little pricey (but so worth it), the 15% discount is much appreciated.
The Macy’s beauty sale is also a great time to stock up on other skincare brands like Kiehl’s and Clinique if you regularly use their products.
Don’t forget haircare stuff, too
The other awesome brand that’s part of Macy’s beauty sale is DevaCurl — if you have curly hair and you haven’t tried DevaCurl yet, then you absolutely need to! It’s amazing, and makes my curls so bouncy and defined, and soft but structured.
My favorite is their No-Poo cleansing conditioner, in place of traditional shampoo and conditioner. Their Set It Free spray is also amazing– imagine something that totally de-frizzes and holds your curls all day, but still feels 100% soft in your hair … it’s fantastic.
