bkr
bkr makes super chic glass water bottles with a colorful silicone no-slip sleeve. They also have a cap with a convenient handle so you can easily cart it everywhere. Also, and I’m totally serious — water totally tastes better when you drink it from a glass bottle than a plastic or metal one. They even have a genius lip balm that fits right inside the bottle cap.
Boscia
Boscia makes one of my all-time favorite makeup removers / face washes, but basically their entire line of skincare is amazing. If I had to recommend some favorites, they would be 1) of course their makeup breakup cool cleansing oil (the tsubaki cleansing oil-gel is also amazing, PS, 2) their luminizing black charcoal mask, their clear complexion tonic, and their sake bright white mask.
Briogeo
Brigeo is a Black-owned beauty brand beauty brand that makes amazing hair products. I especially love their curly hair shampoo and conditioner, their moisturizing hair mask, and their heat protectant creme. Living Proof
Living Proof makes one of my favorite dry shampoos (their perfect hair day dry shampoo), but they have a bunch of other amazing haircare products, too. If you’re looking to cut down on the time your whole getting ready process takes in the morning, their perfect hair day in-shower styler is pretty magical — you literally apply it in the shower and let your hair air dry for perfect texture and waves. And if your hair needs a little TLC, then their no frizz intense moisture mask will be a huge help.
R&Co.
R&Co. is another haircare brand that I absolutely LOVE their shampoo and conditioner for curly hair (the cassette shampoo and conditioner) — but I have a few other favorites, too. Their rockaway salt spray is perfect for beachy texture and their sail soft wave spray is great to use with my Beachwaver for tousled waves. I also love their one prep spray for anytime I’m about to use heat, or whenever my hair needs a refresh. Their outer space flexible hairspray is great when you want hold without crunchy stiffness, and their death valley dry shampoo is great for extending the life of blowouts, especially in the colder months.
rms beauty
rms beauty is one of the only makeup brands I’ve ever used that I genuinely felt improved the texture and quality of my skin while I was using it. If you’re looking for a makeup brand that is honest to god all non-toxic and organic — then you cannot get any better than rms beauty. Among my favorites are their living luminizer cream highlighter, their “un” cover-up, which does the job of both a foundation and a concealer, their creamy lip shine (which can also be used as a blush), and their beauty oil, which is one of the most wonderful potions I’ve ever used on my face. It even rescued my dry, eczema-prone skin during a dreadful New York winter.
Sunday Riley
Sunday Riley makes one of my favorite face washes / makeup removers — and yes, I have several favorite face washes and makeup removers … so what haha? Their ceramic slip clay cleanser is so creamy and wonderful, and it leaves my skin feeling super soft — but it also removes all of my makeup in one swoop. I also love their good genes glycolic acid treatment, and their A+ high dose retinoid serum is really great if you’re interested in trying a retinol product for the first time. Lastly, if you want something you can slap on your face at night before bed to improve tone and texture, their luna sleeping night oil is also amazing (and another retinoid formula).
tarte cosmetics
tarte cosmetics makes a bunch of different products that are FANTASTIC — and I love that they are vegan and cruelty-free, too. Their amazonian clay 12-hour blush is one of my favorites, and I love their tarteist eyeshadow palettes (the colors are great and they last forever). I also love their tarteguard SPF 30 brush-on powder sunscreen and their lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara.
