Wanted to share 5 ways to wear this super cute Old Navy plaid button-down, which is a perfect piece for the holidays and beyond!
First up, I layered the plaid button-down with a hunter green cozy cropped henley right over it. Both of these pieces would be great on their own, but paired together, they’re even better! Wearing a 2XL in the button-down and an XL in the henley.
Next up, I switched things up and reversed the look, with the button-down on top of the henley, and it’s a totally different vibe!
Next up, I tried the plaid button-down with a cropped cable knit cardigan in a slightly different shade of green — and again you have a totally different look! For a dressier vibe, you could swap out the jeans for a chic skirt (like this corduroy mini) and tuck in the button-down. Wearing an XL in the cardigan.
Next up, I tried on this pointelle sweater layered over the plaid button-down and buttoned the buttons all the way up for a different vibe. To be honest, I am not sure I totally love this pairing, and that’s okay! I might prefer it more if it was the sweater in the cream color(?). The point is to experiment with layers, so get out there and mix & match and don’t be afraid to try different silhouettes together! Wearing an XL in the sweater, which I totally love even by itself.
Next up, I tried on this new colorblock sweater layered over the plaid button-down, and it’s another cute vibe! This sweater must be super new because I can’t even find it on the website yet (but there are similar styles here and here). Wearing an XL in the sweater.
Hope you enjoyed my 5 ways to wear breakdown! Next up, I tried on a few of my favorite new Old Navy sweaters! This pointelle knit ruffle sleeve sweater is so fun and festive, and I love this shade of blue. Wearing an XL here for reference.
Next up, I love this cropped turtleneck! I love the marled colors and how cozy and soft it is. Again wearing an XL here for reference.
And last but certainly not least, this crewneck fair isle sweater. This one comes in a bunch of different color combinations and it’s just so darn cute and cozy. Wearing an XL here.
