Dressing cute during the Polar Vortex is virtually impossible … and it becomes all about the layering. So yesterday, I threw a sweater on over one of my favorite dresses and hoped for the best.

I do this all the time, and encourage all y’all to try it — if you have a dress in your closet that you love, why not make it do double duty and turn it into a skirt, too? Just throw a sweater on over it and voila.
I love that the green in the necklace is so unexpected against the pink and picks up the color of the leaves in the dress.
