Yesterday, I headed up to Pleasantville (yes, Pleasantville really exists) for a holiday lunch with fellow alumni from my college.
Since I was going to be traveling by train, I wanted something that wouldn’t wrinkle. And I knew there was snow headed our way, so I wanted to be cozy and warm, too.

This is one of my favorite layering tips for the winter … if there’s a dress you like, but it’s a little on the thin side, then just layer a sweater over it. Boom, the dress becomes a skirt.
I should also note that this sweater from LOFT is crazy comfortable. So soft. Sported my favorite Velvet Eyewear ‘Sofie’ frames in seafoam, too.
