I have something to confess … I don’t always take the best care of my skin. Which is terrible, because I was actually blessed with really great skin that I am technically taking for granted.
Now that I’m in my 30s, I know that the texture and complexion of my skin could start to change. And I know that I need to start taking better care of my skin now so that it will look great later.
So when the makers of Spa Sonic asked me if I wanted to test out their 7-piece skincare system, I jumped at the chance. And you know that if I’m willing to post photos of myself without any makeup on, it has to be for something good.
The package comes with the following:
- 1 Body polishing unit
- 2 Small facial brushes
- 1 Large body brush
- 1 Facial buffer
- 1 Pumice stone
- 1 Battery four pack
The whole process is pretty darn simple, too. You simply put the batteries in, put on whatever attachment you want to use, wet your face, pump some of your favorite product onto the brush (mine is CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser) and go to town.
At first, it feels a little odd to have a rotating brush on your face — it even tickles a little bit. But the brush is super soft and delicate.
After a few minutes of buffing in a circular motion, your skin feels amazing.
I noticed afterward that it was getting rid of a dullness that I didn’t even realize I had.
You can definitely feel it exfoliating your skin while it rotates.
I think I buffed for about five minutes and then gently rinsed and patted my face dry.
My skin now feels super soft, moisturized (but not greasy) and luminous.

So far, I’ve only tested it out on my face (I haven’t even tried the body polisher or pumice attachment yet!), but that was enough to sell me on the device.
The verdict: I thoroughly enjoy using this product, and I intend to use it at least once a week on my face. I also can’t wait to test out the pumice stone attachment on my tired feet. I would say that there’s no need to spend $100 more on other systems … this one works just great if you ask me!
Please note: Spa Sonic sent me this system to test out and keep, but I have not otherwise been compensated for this post.
