Pastel purses & how to rock them

If the bold, bright and neon colored accessories (that seem to be everywhere lately) completely scare you, then perhaps a pastel handbag would be perfect … it’ll let you experiment with color without feeling like you’re wearing something that’s screaming, “look at me!” while you walk down the street.

Here are some pastel handbags that would be perfect for this spring and summer …

There is a science, though, to picking out a good pastel purse if you’re going to give this trend a try. You will want to just make sure that:
1) it doesn’t look too childish;
2) it still has a sophisticated structure to it; and
3) it’s made of luxe (or luxe looking) fabrics and has luxe details.
And, if you’re wondering what to pair it with — just make sure that the rest of your outfit isn’t all pastel, and you’ll be fine. Remember that your standard neutrals — black, navy, tan, etc. — go really nicely with pastels, in the same way they go really nicely with neons and brights.
Keep those things in mind and you’ll be rocking the trend in no time!
