But my major accomplishment today was breaking in my new Clarks shoes …
Button-downs, skinny pants and cardigans have become a bit of a work uniform for me lately — they’re just so darn effortless. Today I paired polka dots and animal print together and was surprised by how well it worked!

I’ve had this necklace for a couple of years now — I love the mix of chains, pearls and stones.
My husband gave me this J. Crew chain link bracelet for Valentine’s Day several years ago, and it’s still one of my favorites. And I love most everything cobalt blue, so I routinely wear that J. Crew bracelet, too 🙂 And of course my ASPCA wristband for good measure.
Now … my new shoes. I’ve been spying these new Clarks ‘Charlie’ brogues ever since they came out in August, but I patiently waited for my fall rewards coupon so I could get them for 20% off.
They’re super comfortable and totally on trend. I can’t wait to wear them with a dress and tights, too.
