Happy Wednesday, friends — sharing my latest at home try on session with y’all tonight! I ordered a bunch of pieces from the ELOQUII Elements Walmart spring collection, and I wanted to share them with y’all!
I am loving all of these square neck peasant style dresses that are popping up everywhere this spring! This blue abstract dot print dress was calling my name, and I really love it. Wearing an 18 here for reference and it’s pretty true to size. The fabric is nice and soft. It’s not too stretchy, but the elastic at the waist and at the shoulders is generous.
I also picked it up in this really fun tropical floral print ($32). Also wearing a size 18 here.
This twist back t-shirt maxi dress ($24) intrigued me online and I ended up being super impressed with it! The back has a really sexy twist / cut-out (see next photo) and the silhouette is really flattering. It’s almost like a jersey knit material and is very stretchy, but flattering. Wearing a size 18/20 here and it’s pretty true to size. If you’re on the shorter side (I am 5’6″), then you might drag it on the ground unless you’re wearing some sort of heel or platform. It was hitting me right on the tops of my feet. PS – it also comes in a solid black version, this really chic tangerine shade, and a summer-perfect stripe.
You can see the cute cut-out here! Whatever you do, don’t put it on backwards by accident 🙂 … unless that’s what you’re into. I’m not here to judge.
This emerald green eyelet shirt dress ($36) was calling my name, too — and I really love it. The fabric feels really expensive, and I love that the tiered skirt has a lining, etc. It’s incredibly comfortable, too, even for being somewhat fancy. Wearing a size 18 here as well for reference. Sadly, it looks like the green might be sold out right now, but it also comes in a crisp white and a really pretty marigold shade.
Here’s another one of the same peasant dresses ($32) from above, but in a really pretty yellow floral print. Such a cheerful print for spring and summer. Again wearing an 18 here for reference. Normally I would be too shy to wear such a bright yellow, but this one is just so fun.
The tiered skirt on this dot print dress ($30) is so fun and flirty. And talk about a dress that you can just throw on and run out the door! This is such an effortless piece. Again wearing a size 18.
Lastly, I wanted to try one of the peasant blouses ($22) from the spring collection, and this emerald green is such a great color (it also comes in a really pretty blush tone). You can see there’s smocking at the sleeve cuffs and both the empire waist (above the peplum hem) and the neckline is elastic for a snug fit that won’t fall down. The only thing that was bugging me about this top was that it was doing this weird bubbling thing in between my boobs. It just wasn’t laying right, no matter how much I tried to play around with it. But that’s not uncommon for me with tops like this. Wearing a size 18/20 here and it’s pretty true to size.
