Last Sunday, I attended the baby shower of a very dear friend and coworker. Mallory is one of the gals I am closest to at my job, and she and her husband are expecting her first babies – twin boys! Her mom threw her the most beautiful ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ themed shower.
I knew that I wanted to get her gifts that were unique and
super special, so I headed to one of my favorite websites for gifts — Uncommon Goods.
I’ve been shopping there since I was in college over a decade ago …
they always have just what I am looking for! Founded in 1999 and
headquartered in Brooklyn, Uncommon Goods is an privately-owned
retailer that features unique designs and handcrafted gifts created in
harmony with the environment and without harm to animals or people.
They’re even a Certified B Corporation! Most of the products they carry
are created right here in the USA, too, which I totally love. And about
one-third of their entire collection incorporates recycled and/or
upcycled materials. It’s pretty much a no-brainer!
One of my favorite things about Uncommon Goods is the gifts they have for kids and babies (which you can find right here). They have a lot of items you just don’t see in other places. They even have great gifts for moms (which you can find here) and a ton of gifts you can personalize (which you can find here).
I couldn’t resist these adorable baby athletic socks, either.
She also got this set of boa stacking rings. I wanted to get her this insanely adorable fox clock for the nursery, too, but one of her friends beat me to it!
